Emily's Surprise Birthday Weekend

We started the night at Jackson's, 2 blocks from where I work. It was a perfect night to begin Emily's birthday weekend celebration (Friday, 9/23/05) .

Charlie's Angles.

2 redheads.

Emily's big surprise, she's thinking we are taking her to some club. Instead, we are going to Loni's farm northeast of Nashville for the weekend.

Shopping for our weekend supplies at Wal Mart.

Friday night, Loni had the grill all ready to go when we got there.

Spicier girls. We did some karaoke right after dinner.

"Been spending most of our lives living in the gangsta's paradise..."

With feeling.

Sing it loud baby!

Our portable karaoke machine. My Laptop has over 5,000 songs.

Jessica, Caleb, Jeff, Linda, Emily, John & Nicole.

Roasting marshmallows over the fire for some yummy smores.

Hot babe on the 4 wheeler. There were two of these (4 wheelers, there were several hot babes) that everyone got to play with Friday night.

We also played Twister both nights. Heather brought the game. It was my first time. Definitely fun and challenging... especially after a few drinks.

Hey Em, can you touch your toes?

Ready, set, go!

Hey Jess!

What's with the sneaky grin Jeff?

Waking up Saturday morning. Love you Linda!!

Our ride to the canoe drop off point.

Emily, Adam, Jessica, Jeff, Nicole & I canoed the Buffalo River on Saturday.

Making our way to the rope swing.

Adam swinging from a rope. We all took turns doing this. Fun, fun, fun!!

Hey Nicole!!

Jessica and Emily were the champs. For the most part they kept ahead of everyone.

These guys kept bumping into things.

Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream...

The Buffalo River is very scenic.

Emily & Jessica, in the water.

After our great canoeing adventure.

Loni with his horse and dog.

Emily, Jeff & I walked down to the creek and played target practice with an old car, using a bunch of rocks.

Hey man!! Pull those pants up!

Dancing the night away.

Adam & Jeff, going old school.

Jessica and Jeff showing off their sexed up dance moves.

Twister is pretty close to yoga. It puts you in meditative states.

This game is a real workout. My muscles were hurting the next day.

Get away from there dude, or I'll let it rip.

Loni, getting his groove on.

Hey Loni, thanks for having us at your wonderful place. We had a grand time!

One really happy guy.

This picture is deceiving, Adams ass is really much bigger than mine.

Adam was doing some amazing flips after lots and lots of booze.

Jeff and Emily, hoppin' on the trampoline.

Party at Old Hickory Lake & Salsa Dancing at the Top O'Woodland

Saturday (9/17/05) night started at a party with my coworkers. I am the clinical manager for the neurosurgery practice at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and one of our physicians threw a party for the medical center staff we work closely with. The home, which sits on an island on Old Hickory Lake, is beautiful. It was nice to spend time with everyone I work with in a more leisurely environment.

At around 11pm I headed for the Top O'Woodland Bed & Breakfast owned by Belinda. There were about 11 or 12 people there. When I got there the group was getting a Salsa dancing lesson.

Caleb being taught the basic steps of Salsa.

Jeff was an expert at Salsa dancing after just a few minutes. The guy was dancing circles around the rest of us - literally.

Sean, Heather & Belinda: groovin' to some of the classics.

This is what happens when Heather gets embarrassed.

Here's to you.

We played drinking games until the wee hours of the morning. Thankfully, we were able to stay at the B & B.
