Aaron, Sean, Emily & Doug: Happy after a wonderful journey.

Here are three people I've really come to love. I am a little sad because soon all three of them will be a bit further away, but such is my lot in life.

I have amazing friends all over the globe. It really is not healthy to think about how much I miss or will miss everyone, but I have to admit sometimes it cant be helped. I try to look forward to the times ahead, while giving the past a respectable place in the heart.

I want to say something to each person in the picture:

Doug, thanks for visiting this weekend. You are always with me. Brother, we were initiated into the Sufi Order on the same day and I think that really says it all. You have seen my light and my shadows. Thanks for always being there.

Aaron, thanks for spending your last weekend in Nashville with us. I have only known you for a few of months but feel like I've known you for years. You have a friend for life in me. I look forward to more adventures in the future.

Emily, you are one amazing being. I love the way you look at life and the way you have chosen to experience it. Wherever I am, you have a home. Remember that when you are on your next great journey. I am grateful that you will be here through the holidays and I pray that the road you take brings you closer to your ideal.
