Getting ready to go home after cleaning up.
Well, this is not the most glamorous shot to end this post with, but the last shot is even worst so this will have to do.
We all drove back to Nashville. I prepared dinner for the bunch. We had blackened salmon, lasagna and cucumber salad. Everyone hung out and watched a movie. We were all exhausted, but content.
The next day I took Doug to breakfast with Muhammad Jamal, Jamila, Heather and Barry. We had a nice meal at Le Peep. After breakfast I drove Doug to the airport for his flight back home.
When I got home, I got a call from Bovi and Joan in Zurich, Switzerland. They are inviting me over this October. It would be nice but it is too soon to plan for. I do look forward to seeing them next year. I will try to incorporate this into my trip to Spain. Doug and I are going and I also have a few other friends who have expressed interest in being part of this trip. Having some of my friends in Europe meet my friends from the U.S. would be great. It will be a wild time!
After a little rest, I went to have a late lunch with Mark. We went to see "The 40 Year Old Virgin" - very funny movie! Go see it if you haven't already. For dinner, I met Barry and a friend of his from New Orleans at Ken's Sushi. At the restaurant there were other refugees from the hurricane zone. It is sad to see what the people are having to endure.
After all the excitement this weekend I decided to forgo Brady's birthday bash. I need to get some rest. Tomorrow is another day and this coming week will be a very busy one.
